Nativity! Fanart

This is a piece of fan art I did to celebrate my love for the Christmas film nativity. Painted in my moleskin watercolour sketchbook with watercolours,  fine liner, metallic ink and coloured pencils. I want to draw a large selection of the characters dressed up in their costumes. I had a lot of fun creating this piece as i got to watch the film and listen to the sound track a lot.

I know its a little late but what is your favourite Christmas film?

Wild Child

Emma Roberts as Poppy Moore in Wild child is another iconic film from my tween years. I loved the concept of boarding school as a kid. There was this book series called secrets at St judes that I was obsessed with and them books made me love the idea of a boarding school but obviously the reality of boarding school probably isn't as cool or filled with drama as in the movies and books.

Angus, thongs and perfect snogging

To every british girl growing up in the early 2000s loved Angus thongs and perfect snogging. The film is iconic is so many ways with the soundtrack being one of the most important parts. The beginning with Georgia running through the streets in her giant olive outfit with scouting for girls playing in the background is the most iconic scene in any film for me.
Fun fact- I've seen scouting for girls live at the girl guiding event in like 2012.

St. Trinian's

A fanart piece of a character from the 2008 film st trinian's. I used to watch this film all the time and loved it. The quote on the side is from the song girls aloud that is played at the end of the film. The st trinian's girls are badass girls that are cleaver and ruthless.  The hockey sticks are the best weapon a girl needs to this girls and I fully agree.

cinedraw challenge part 5

Day 5 was the final day and thenpromt as favourite film. My favourite film is Hugo. This is a film based of the book, the invention of Hugo cabret  which has the upmost beautiful illustrations and the film looks so similar which makes me so happy. When i saw this film in 2011, I fell in love with  Asa Butterfield and became the biggest fan of him for so many years ( and to this very day but I try and stay out of the fandom and stan internet as much as possible these days). Back when I studied film and media in school for my GCSEs I studied and analysed this film in depth and it made me love it even more than I already did.

Comment your favourite film down below and let's get a conversation started!!!!!

Hope you have liked my cinedraw challenge drawings. I really liked this challenge and it let me really get into digital drawings on my Samsung tab.

cinedraw challenge part 3

Day 3 was comedy and for this I drew Jojo Rabbit. I went to see this in the cutest cinema ever in Newcastle and I want to go back again soon. I loved this film a lot, it was so funny and I have a real fascination for films set in WW2 especially more about people instead of lots of guns and fighting. I want to see this film again and again and I don't think I could get bored of it. Little Roman who played the lead was so excellent and I really hope he does well in the future.

What is your favourite genre of film?
