3 little flowers

Sometimes I love to just make some happy and bright and bold designs. This one is just one of those. I was messing around my sketchbook app and made this. I love to make colourful designs to bring happiness to myself and others.

Don't normally get political on here but honestly I get more and more fed up of the tories every day and wish the uk was run so much better. I'm glad I live in a country where I can openly criticise the people in charge but I wish I could do more. The statement itself is pretty bold and blunt so I toned it down with some pretty flowers.

This is another piece i did for uni in my first year. This is probably the project I liked the least but it turned out ok. The project was called drawing transformed and you had to explore mark making and different techniques and create a digital piece in the end. I focused on flowers to give my project some direction. The top flowers was doing by making little dashes, the middle one was with stick and ink and the bottom one was stitched. Then there is a selection of mark making in the background to add different textures. The coloured ones were coloured with watercolours. This project involved a lot of scanning in and a couple of stressed out gives up but it turned out OK and I came out of it with a lot of new skills.

Heya!!! Wanted to reintroduce myself to my readers so hi! Here is a self portrait i did of myself to help reintroduce myself to people. I'm a Yorkshire born and breed lass who is always cheerful and smiley.

Happy mother's day! Sunday 14th March is mother's day here in the UK but as well as celebrating our relatives and other important women in our lifes, we are also celebrating our other mother aka mother nature. Parents groups and children's illustrator over on Instagram have started a #ourothermother campaign to get creatives to rise awareness for climate change again and celebrate the beauty and wonders of plant earth. This drawing of mine celebrates mother nature and shows her beauty and peacefulness as she holds the plant in her arms.

I have always loved drawing patterns and this was really fun to draw. I put this on redbubble and it looks really good on the products as repeat especially on he dress and skirt. Also redbubble has recently released masks so all my designs are available as a mask.
